"Spring & Romance 2026" - Concert of Operatic Arias / Classical Music. presented by GS Wines.

Join us for this unique event that celebrates Springtime and all good things in life - combining a tasting of some of our high quality Italian wines with a gala concert of music and arias and classical song and enjoy an evening of sensual enchantment!

We have a superb cast of artistes! The singers comprise 2 very different sopranos and 2 very different British tenors:

Andrea Rodríguez-Gómez - highly talented emerging artiste, American soprano (formerly mezzo)
Valerija Iljin - vastly experienced Lithuanian spinto soprano
Jack Roberts - mellifluous lyric tenor, and
Tom Lidgley - a darker, robust spinto tenor

The singers will delight you with their beautiful voices and musicality as they perform songs portraying a huge range of emotions, from the greats of opera and classical song. They will be accompanied on the Grand Piano, by the incomparable Caroline Jaya-Ratnam, concert pianist and répétiteur, (highly sought-after and a regular member of staff on the BBC Proms). The music programme will include popular arias from the great composers of opera such as Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, Handel, Wagner and many more.

We are also delighted that violinist Takanori Okamoto will be joining our concert, to perform some stunning and beautiful virtuoso classical violin pieces by Bach and Paganini Takanori is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship. He is very active on the UK concerts circuit, playing solo violin, in piano & violin duos, Chamber music quartets and with Orchestra.

Pricing of tickets is as follows (discounted prices in red):

Premium £32.50 (£35.92 via Eventbrite) (seating from rows 2 to 3)

Super-Premium £39.50 (£43.51 via Eventbrite) (FRONT ROW seats - limited availability!)

All tickets include: welcome Italian bubbly on arrival, plus a glass of quality Italian wine and snacks (subject to availability) during the intermission. Welcome drinks served from 5:30 pm (a complimentary glass of sparkling Italian wine), to be savoured at leisure. Concert performance starts at approx 6:30 pm and is expected to finish around 8:30pm so that the optional dinner is not too late. The concert will comprise 2 x 45 minute sessions, with interval. Each session will be packed with the highest quality performance of song and music. Premium and Super Premium ticket holders can select a glass of wine from a choice of our premium level wines during the intermission. (NB Ticket excludes the cost of any optional post-concert dinner)
